Been to jasp many times, many time it's newton county the county I was born and raised in , we use go there to buy vehicles tags , pay taxes and visit our old next door neighbors that moved to little Switzerland, I had a first cousin that was a police officer in jasper for a long time he's since passed away and he had a son that worked at the jail , and he has a younger son who is a police officer in Harrison,

I’m from Colorado and thought I knew something about beauty and the cold until I spent the winter in Arkansas. The beauty of the mountains is stunning and the cold, humid wind will cut you like a knife no matter how many layers you wear.

You should stop at low gap cafe hwy 7 for best food in jasper ark. We used be in lo gap . New location if u havent been yet.

The glory hole is so beautiful! Been there several times. I live in NW Arkansas I love the Buffalo River getting ready to float it again this spring! Lost valley is a great place to see too if you're lucky you might see some Elk at the preserve. Arkansas is awesome so much to see very pretty!
