What's so shocking here? The elephant's tusks were sawn off — meaning it was either tranquilized or tied up, unless you're suggesting they were cut while it was alive and conscious. Was it supposed to just 'relax and enjoy it'? And if trophy hunting is legal again there, how exactly is the elephant expected to react to humans? Seems like a perfectly natural response to me.
