Sandy Alexander, a commercial printing and marketing services company that counts restaurant chains among its clients, has been acquired by the Marth Group, giving the printer a coast-to-coast production network, according to a company press release.
Sandy Alexander produces printed menus, in-store signage, direct mail campaigns and other marketing materials for dining brands, along with clients in the automotive, beauty, healthcare and retail sectors. The Marth Group is the parent company of ENPOINTE, based in Minneapolis, and Digital Lizard, which operates in New Jersey and Idaho. The deal brings the three businesses together under a single ownership structure while preserving the Sandy Alexander name.
Mark and Barbara Marth will serve as co-CEOs of Sandy Alexander in addition to their existing roles leading the Marth Group, ENPOINTE and Digital Lizard.
The combined company will operate six facilities giving s clients production capability spanning the East Coast, West Coast and Midwest — a scale that could appeal to multiunit restaurant brands looking to standardize menu boards, packaging inserts and promotional materials across regions from a single vendor.
The company also holds Woman-Owned and Minority-Owned Business certifications, along with HITRUST and SOC 2 compliance designations carried over from ENPOINTE. Company officials said those credentials give Sandy Alexander clients — including those in healthcare, life sciences and financial services — expanded procurement options and stronger data security assurances.
“Sandy Alexander is stronger than ever, and as part of the Marth Group, it’s about to reach more clients, in more markets, than at any point in its 60-year history,” Mark Marth said in the release.
Luke Westlake, a Sandy Alexander representative, said the acquisition builds on the company’s reputation while adding resources.
“Joining the Marth Group amplifies everything we’ve built — giving our clients coast-to-coast production capability, expanded certifications and a team that’s larger and stronger than ever,” Westlake said.
The newly combined organization will draw on Sandy Alexander’s experience in commercial printing, brand environments, direct mail, and kitting and fulfillment; ENPOINTE’s large-format and data-driven variable print production; and Digital Lizard’s digital print platform and West Coast operations.
Founded in Clifton more than 60 years ago, Sandy Alexander serves clients in the dining, automotive, beauty, healthcare, life sciences, retail and travel industries. The Marth Group, a privately held holding company, employs more than 500 people across five states.
