Paris is heartbreaking, the expectations are not what they make it seem on social media. Plus the train stations smell like piss, people are also not as nice, outside of that Paris is lovely!

As an American I will let everyone know that New York and LA are both overrated cities. Alaska is the best state to travel to if you want to visit the U.S. (I’m Alaskan so I am incredibly biased) 😅

As a Parisian, I think I cannot live anywhere else, it would be a nightmare to me to be forced to live somewhere else than Paris. But I understand people here, it’s a loud, dirty, very alive city, and we don’t like tourists because they’re everywhere. I keep complaining about how Paris is « too much » but then I’m like « oh Paris, I love you so freaking much you ungrateful dirty bitch of a city ! ». I’m not rude to anyone, never, but I understand the feelings of some fellow Parisians towards tourists 😅

Paris can be nice to visit if you can afford to go to nice places, not just silly tourist attractions, but to live there is a no no.

Spain, a LOT of the waiters there gave us stink eyes and tried to play money wise bc we look very strongly of foreigners although there were very few nice people who loved having Americans around so that was nic
