Regarding the second choice: there is no such thing a 'private bay' anywhere in Thailand – all beaches are public.
The airport flight path is over several of your suggestions. No luxury locations can be under the landing and take-off routes – too much noise and pollution. Your idea of luxury is highly questionable.

Good list but not very accurate. Four Seasons is easily the number 1 resort in Koh Samui followed by Banyan Tree and Six Senses. I think just about every expert would agree that Four Seasons is #1 in Koh Samui.
