Can a single person get a place anywhere ?
The express pass add on is a big win
Just spent the night at Cabana Bay. It was clean, well lit, nice overall
Helios is premiere? You don't get express passes. I believe its only a preferred as of now
I was looking into a trip and when i prices out the cheaper hotels and paying for the express pass unlimited, it was way cheaper to stay in a premier hotel.
Stick to being a Disney schill
But unlike Disney's value resorts, you have all the restaurants on International Drive there is literally an IHOP, Walgreens across the street plus a 711 next door to Dockside
I first stayed at the Royal Pacific in 2008 and then again in 2009. But then we stayed at Hard Rock in 2013 and 2015. Rock Royalty Status in 2015 was a literal dream. I last stayed in 2019 and intend to go back in 2026 when Epic has had a year to get refined
Just this past Dec stayed at Royal Pacific, loved everything. last night we had a delicious dinner at Orchard Lounge.
Universal did heavily imply that express pass WILL be available for Epic. But they didnt specify which rides would be included and what the costs are. The only thing we know is it is not included with any of the hotels.
Universal actually changed their hotel categories some weeks ago. There’s now only 3:

I was able to get a room at Helios Grand for the opening week of Epic Universe, and am really excited to experience it!
The one thing i would say about Express Passes, is outside of the peak seasons, they're really not worth it! SOO many times weve been and wait times have been heavily inflated. Anything less than 30 minutes tends to really be 5. My advice would be if you're not going during halloween, christmas, spring break or summer, do yourself a favour and just go without them!
Save the money for good food and whatever else, and thank me later🙌🏼♥️
I stayed at the Portofino last November and it was absolutely beautiful, especially when they were decorating for Christmas. The included express pass was so nice!
Of the Universal resorts I think my top 5 would be:
1. Cabana Bay
2. Royal Pacific
3. Hard Rock
4. Endless Summer
5. Aventura
No vlogger ever mentions this but when you order at the Starbucks in the hotel lobbies you can earn stars to your account but you can't redeem stars there so I tell people to save their stars for the Starbucks at City Walk that's right by the moving walkway
We didn't find anything fun about Aventura.

I wish you would do a video about passes.. for first time pass holders . you can get hotels cheaper and a lot of other benefits.
I'd love to know more about Portofino! If we wind up going, I think that's where I'd like to stay. Those Unlimited Express Passes sound like an amazing perk.

I have been to the Endless Surfside, which has two rooms and a pool view, and it is amazing, especially if you want space for all your shopping. Can you go deep into Cabana Bay? It is underrated, but as far as I know, it is a good one.
