Hard to navigate this video. Keep having to rewind to see what hotel he's talking about. Would have been better if the hotel name stayed on screen while he was talking about that hotel. Came to say this before clicking off.

I've stayed at both the Gritti and Danieli. Both are opulent and offer that classic Venetian vibe, but I now lean towards the Danieli…stepping out onto a promenade is convenient, there's a dedicated water taxi stand right off the lobby, rooftop restaurant/bar (with spectacular views), and with St Marks just around the corner (along with shops and cafes) it's a bit more accessible. I'm biased, however, as I stayed there during the Venice film festival a few years ago… Gemma Chan, Harry Styles, and Chris Pine walked by us, headed towards a rooftop after party.

Nice vid, but it seems Venice proper isn't overall that large where these hotels are located so I wonder why some are a 30-minute drive and some are an hour or more drive from the airport as you say, and the drive must take you to the nearest boat to the hotel?
it's funny that you talk like hotels were reachable by car from the airport lol.
