  1. No matter how you dice it. Adding up a trip of resort, food, park tickets, and merch. Universal is closer to half the price of Disney world. And it’s more thrilling. For adults and kids. It’s a no brainer why universal is on an uptrend and people are complaining Disney out pacing inflation year over year.
Universal express is better than Disney premier pass.and it’s much much cheaper. Built in to the cost of their deluxe Disney would never. Not even a free multi pas with them.

  2. The categories recently changed to Value inn and Suites (Endless Summer and Cabana Bay), Prime Value (Terra Luna, Stella Nova, and Aventura), and Signature Collection (Portophino Bay, Royal Pacific, Hard Rock, Saphire Falls, and Grand Helios)
It’s a bit confusing because Saphire and Helios don’t offer included express passes and Cabana Bay has more amenities than all the prime values put together lol

  3. The boats at Universal are better than Disney. They are open air (so not stuffy), there is music, sometimes a joking captain, and they have dedicated security!

The hotels all have a text services to the front desk for anything you need.

Very excited for DFB to start getting into the great Universal resort restaurants!

  4. My biggest bummer right now with Universal is that I have an Owner's Locker, and they don't allow delivery there. I think there was some issue during the pandemic when they had reduced bell staff, and now Loews won't let them drop off my Owner's Locker when I visit — I have to stop and pick it up and drop it off at the warehouse.

  5. The categories of hotel has changed. There is Value Inn and Suites (dockside, surfside, cabana bay). Prime value ( Aventura, Stella nova, Terra Luna) , and Signature hotels ( Sapphire, royal pacific, hard rock, Portofino, Helios)

  6. Even though I much prefer to stay at a Disney hotel, mostly because it's a lot easier and quicker to get back to my room on a night after the Happily Ever After fireworks at Magic Kingdom, or Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios, that is not to say that I've ruled out staying at Universal hotel altogether, because I haven't. If there ever comes a time where for some reason I can't stay at a Disney hotel anymore, then I'll turn to a Universal one as a backup, but only a backup. But I don't see that happening anytime soon. Still, thanks for the video though
