Texas Roadhouse named Lloyd Marshall as its first chief growth officer. Marshall is currently the head of Roadhouse’s sister concept, Bubba’s 33, and will continue in that position as well. He first joined the company in 1997 as a managing partner. He will oversee construction, design, real estate and other development-related jobs.
Red Robin Chief People Officer Meghan Spuler has left the company, according to an SEC filing. No reason was given for her departure. Spuler joined the brand in December 2023. She previously held HR roles at Eckered Connects, Bloomin’ Brands and Campbell Soup Co.
Jessica Reicher is the new executive vice president and chief operating officer at Whataburger, starting Sept. 16. She is the former president of Arby’s at the mega-franchise company Flynn Group, where she led more than 360 locations across 10 states. Reicher’s background also includes executive roles at Nando’s U.S., where she was COO, and stings at Fuddruckers, Pizza Hut International and Taco Bell.
Robert “Bob” Fargo has been named senior vice president of development for SPB Hospitality, parent to Logan’s Roadhouse, Krystal, J. Alexander’s and other brands. Fargo joined SPB in 2023 as vice president of construction and design. He previously held leadership roles with Ideal Image, Seven Restaurants and PDQ Restaurants.
J.J. Grube has returned to Cousins Subs as CFO. Grube first joined the Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin-based sandwich chain in 2017 as director of finance and advanced to VP of operations and finance in 2020. In his current role, he will oversee all financial functions for the company to support growth.
Seattle pizza chain Tutta Bella named Cate Hardy as its CEO as the brand continues its expansion into consumer-packaged goods. Hardy brings more than 20 years of experience in CPG, grocery and casual dining.
