I spent 1 week travelling in Tanzania trying to see as much wildlife as possible.

We went on safaris in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater before relaxing in Zanzibar, enjoying the Safari Blue boat tour.

This trip was part of a 3 week bespoke tour I organised with Intrepid Travel, also travelling to Kenya & Uganda.

  2. Hi Karl, we travel to Kenya and Tanzania this Fall. Enjoyed your videos. Curious if you got the Yellow Fever vaccine? Looks like it is required by Tanzania to get from Kenya into Tanzania. And how bad were the mosquitos?

  3. I've been thinking about booking this same trip for years, but I hate that both G Adventures and Intrepid rush you through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater on every itinerary. Looks like a nice trip, but an extra day or two at both locations seems like it would have been nice.

  4. I don’t see why people always find the need to pressure others to “smile” more. Some people just don’t smile, as she mentioned (I included), it’s uncomfortable then when others make fun and you have to stand there “smiling” like it’s funny and you’re not somehow offended. Leave her alone, she doesn’t have to “smile” to show she’s “excited” about being there. It only comes off as being forced and not natural.

  5. We were in Tanzania at the same time in 2024. I was born and lived in Zanzibar, but I saw all of that for the first time. It was memorable. My boys enjoyed the whole Arusha. Moshi trips. I'm glad you enjoyed it as well. Karibuni tena
