Thank god i dont follow this shit vlogger and trust The Flip Flop Traveller honest review instead
You two are each other's doppelgangers
finally you came !!!! I've been there before and will go there again !!
Welcome to my city KL.
The tower still not open yet I guess it will fully open end of 2026. Maybe just rumours it's gonna be jammed that area end of this year. New shopping complex etc KL nowadyas massive construct many building.
That massive area is perfect for doing makeup with the girls
I totally agree with the part about not needing to be IN the highest building when you can look AT the highest building from another one. Which is why to me it makes sense to get a panoramic view of the city including the petronas towers from say, the KL tower, which is also cheaper, instead of going up the petronas to look at the city and eliminating the petronas from the view. Especially when you can still get to visit inside the petronas by visiting suria klcc mall
welcome to malaysia Dan i hope you enjoy your stay in kuala lumpur 😇
Never seen someone so excited to see a toilet. 🙈
Thanks for sharing! Would love to stay at Park Hyatt someday!
Just a little trivia about Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur…
The hotel’s interior design and overall aesthetic are deeply inspired by the traditional Malay kampung house, known as Rumah Panggung. Throughout your stay, you’ll notice subtle yet thoughtful details that bring this concept to life.
For instance, the walls in your room are designed to give the illusion of bamboo, complemented by warm timber flooring. In the shower area, the walls evoke the texture of a mengkuang mat. The separation between the bedroom and bathroom is created using wooden shutters — a tactile experience where you manually slide both panels to close the space, much like in a traditional home.
At the cacao mixology bar, look up and you’ll spot design elements inspired by classic Malay kampung windows, reinforcing the feeling of being within a modern interpretation of a stilt house. Even the minibar cabinet carries cultural significance — it’s modeled after a gerobok, a nostalgic piece often found in traditional Malay homes, especially at our grandparents’ houses.
Service-wise, it’s quite impressive. Many of the staff are trainees or interns from local universities, yet they deliver a level of hospitality that feels both warm and professional.
As for the location, the surrounding development is still in progress. The hotel sits within Merdeka 118, which will eventually feature a major mall and residential components expected to be completed around late 2026. The name “Merdeka” itself pays homage to the nearby Stadium Merdeka, aligning with its historical significance.
For light travellers, connectivity is a big plus — you can access the MRT directly beneath the building, and it’s just two stops (under 10 minutes) to KL Sentral, making airport transfers seamless.
By the way, they can’t have an outdoor pool because it’s located too high up in the sky.
Interesting…Having been there a few weeks ago I must say this was ridiculously bad. The quality of basically everything was just bad.
I stayed 2 nights in Dec 25 and found wear and tear on some of its furniture.
White socks til death do us apart
On the contrary, Asia is where you can customise anything…come to India! 😊
There's actually a massive luxury mall (seven-storey high, 200+ shops/restaurants) at the base and next to Merdeka 118 (the same building as you stayed in). It's called 118 Mall. Problem is that it's construction is behind schedule. It's due to open Q2 2026 but that may be pushed back. It was expected to be open at the same time as the Park Hyatt's opening but that did not happen. It's a very impressive looking mall (from the concert art I saw). Once open, you'll be able to enter the mall from an entrance within Merdeka 118 – there are also exterior entrances.
this is all AI only BKK and SG has good hotel, we still live in tree house
A unique pattern in the shower? Up Sure ok it looks like at a quick glance of something also built in that style many years ago…. Just saying…its Tetris obviously.
It is interesting comparing your video with the one “the flip flop traveler” made. You surely had a vastly different experiences.
The wall design behind the bed reminds me of my late grandparents’ early 70s styled guest bedroom in the best way.
Longon is the bomb, I so totally agree yet most Americans have never even seen it. In Alaska we only find it at the Asian grocery stores.
Sometimes i wonder if these two are more than just friends, they never book double beds, I could be wrong, of course
0:53 "The Glass Closet Where Many People Live as they say," okay, No tea Just Shade
Wow what a beautiful hotel I'll have to book a room there when I visit. However, fabric covered chairs in a sauna is not a good idea for obvious reasons.
The service and the warmness is fabulous, comparable to Four Seasons KL and I've met some of the worker from some lux hotel around KL and they are happier here. You should try the chocolate there, its just wonderful cause its local chocolate. Also maybe end of this year or next year the mall beside will open with quite premium offerings and other activities.
Hi, Malaysian here. Thanks for visiting our country. I would just like to recommend a hotel to review in KL, which is Imperial Lexis.
Its a pretty gay room
Great video! Love your hotel reviews! Very entertaining and informative 🙂
Wow, I’ve never been to KL now I’m adding to my bucket list❤
Your flight reviews are elite with back ground music. Need the same with hotel reviews
someday i will have to book something luxury through you as i love these reviews but oh boy do i try and save on my hotels when i travel and these are not my price range lol
Can you guys review of some of the famous Swiss hotels in places like Gstaad, Zermatt, etc? I feel like you guys would absolutely love the Alpina Gstaad and Gstaad Palace!
Kan ni inte testa hotellets restauranger, visa check in upplevelsen. Erbjuder hotellet transfer osv.
ohhhhh my show is on 🍿
@NonstopDanVlogs …whilst this is just brilliant , AMAN Tokyo blows the competition away ! 🙂
The hotel looks so divine—I wish I could stay overnight at Park Hyatt. Your rating 90% is truly impressive and well deserved. Making no 1 on top of your list. Incredible! Please do visit and review 5-star hotels in Langkawi as well, such as The St. Regis, The Datai, The Danna, The Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, and The Westin. Malaysia Truly Asia. Visit Malaysia 2026!
Unfortunately the mall and observation deck is not ready
One of the tallest hotel in the world.
for the shopping options: there will be a new shopping Mall next to the Building opening in later 2026, but I agree that the Location is not the best to visit KL.
wonderful as usual. I truly hope you two continue to utilize IT Services (remember that comment years ago?) at all these properties that you have reviewed. That would be a 10 out of 10 !!
@26:53 “Your new age bougie uncle…” I feel seen.
