UK: NoMad London, the flagship hotel for the lifestyle brand, has appointed John Sutherland as general manager.
With more than 17 years’ experience in luxury hospitality, Sutherland returns to NoMad London as a former member of the opening team. During the hotel’s inaugural year, he also served as interim general manager.
Most recently, Sutherland served as director of sales and marketing at Park Hyatt London River Thames, helping to launch the brand’s first property in the UK and Ireland.
“Some places stay with you, and NoMad London has always been one of them,” said Sutherland. “Having been part of the hotel’s opening journey, it’s a privilege to return as general manager. This is a hotel with an incredible team, a unique spirit and a reputation for creating unforgettable experiences, and I’m excited to continue building on that success together.”
