Welcome to Amboseli National Park in Kenya! Amboseli is often touted as one of the best places in the world to see African elephants. Here you can find huge herds of them as well as rare big tuskers, elephants whose tusks nearly touch the ground.

In today’s vlog I’m going to visit Amboseli for the first time and tell you everything you need to know so that you can book your own Amboseli safari.

  1. I was there 2 days ago, we did 2 days game drive, there were no lions to be found unfortunately, none had been seen for a week. Saw Cheetahs hunt. Full of gentle giants with huge tusks. Kilimanjaro showed herself for just 5 minutes in 2 days. Great video. Loved Amboselli

  2. Beautifull video Ella, I’m planning to visit kenya in november, would you reccomend that period? I will visit Amboseli and maasai mara/tsavo, which of these would you reccomend given the period and the fact that my biggest dream is to see an adult male lion or a coalition.

  3. I was really unlucky paired with a not so friendly guide who wasn’t interested in what I want I really wanted to see but I saw no cats which was a bummer. I understand nature is unpredictable hence why I can’t be too unhappy but seeing others experiences makes me a bit envious.

  4. any thoughts on comparing Amboseli with Arusha & Tsavo west – given they aren't too far from each other- best to just pick one, if so which one covers most bases? We'll be Masai Mara prior anyway, thx!

  5. Wow Ella, what an incredible video! I would love to visit Amboseli some day. I can’t even imagine how it feels to see sooo many elephants walking right towards you. Thanks for pointing out that a live elephant is worth more than a dead one through trophy hunting. I hope one day the world will not have this sad practice and will allow more of the large and impressive wildlife to survive to also pass down their strong genes.

  6. Hallo.Very impressive, unforgettable moments ,watching the programe.I saw also a falling down about tourism there. Why indians they don't want the park;Perhaps because it has many lakes and mosquitoes and bugs and cockroaches.Perhaps it would help to pick up the rubbish at night*as I have also sent to Tini at Himalaya.Good luck.Bye.
