I visited Miami, Arizona, a once booming copper mining town that has lost 80% of its population. Next, I visited Oatman, Arizona, a once booming gold mining town on Route 66 that has lost 90% of its population. Oatman, however, has reinvented itself as a tourist destination and is known for the herd of burros that roam the streets, descendants of the burros the gold miners brought over a hundred years ago. Finally, Nicole & I explored Lake Havasu City, Arizona, famous for the London Bridge that crosses a waterway in the city. This is the actual London Bridge, brought over from England in 1970.

The bridges at the beginning … what were they over? Was there a river there? Is that debris from the mines?

All I can say is I have eaten a lot of food in my day and that chair restaurant does not look appealing at all, it looks like food poisoning waiting to happen! Also all of the deep-fried carcinogenic ways they cook the food does not look very healthy at all especially that trust me Burger!😮 no sir, I definitely would not trust that one

When so many buildings are on the National Register, and then the town becomes a "Ghost Town" … what does this National Register call the town? A Registered Ghost Town?
Yeah I've driven through there a few times it's quiet but as long as they have a bar I'm fine.

How many people are still live there actually ???
My parents met there. My mother was from Kentucky and visited her sister here. She and my dad were teenagers and met. Mom left and went home and my dad boarded a bus and showed up on her doorstep.
Looks to me Clint Eastwood movie ha ha. . . .
Grace took piano lessons from a handsome music teacher named Benjamin in San Diego. Every lesson turned into long conversations about dreams and old love songs. One evening, they played a duet while rain tapped softly on the windows.
We were on that rd to Oatman just last week. The road going north is a little scary, but very pretty.
Hi, Very well.Good job.

Came here three years ago. Awesome place Not supposed to feed those wild burrows we got in trouble for doing that with carrots but that place is awesome. I love mining towns. I don’t know how much to tell you how much I appreciate your videos driving through all the little unknown places in the United States I’m recovering from surgery and watching these is just wonderful. I’ve learned so much stuff so much history please keep it up. Thank you.

Appestizer in Lake Havasu City = about $15 bucks for basically two deviled eggs topped with various garnishes. More than I would want to spend on just two eggs. And $18 for four slices of bacon – WOW!
That bridge is a truly historic work of art.
I have cooked rib eyes with a propane torch before. Guilty
and prays
Chemtrails all over the sky (13:20). Its unbelieveble, nobody seems to care!
Wow, feels like the 70's. Love it!
Hi from England, no, not London, but that was one of the more interesting and unusual videos you have made. However, I just have to tell you that the hotel is about as medieval as downtown Vegas is Chinese. Here's some things about London Bridge: London Bridge, a historic Thames crossing in London, has existed in various forms since Roman times. The current concrete structure opened in 1973, replacing the 19th-century version sold to an American entrepreneur and moved to Arizona. It is frequently confused with the nearby, more ornate Tower Bridge Key Facts about London Bridge: Arizona Location: The 1831 bridge was sold for £1.02 million in 1968, dismantled, and rebuilt in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where it remains a tourist attraction. Ancient Origins: The first bridge was built by Romans around AD 50, originally constructed from wood. Medieval Buildings: A stone version completed in 1209 featured shops, houses, and a chapel, creating a "tunnel" effect that caused severe traffic congestion. Frequent Rebuilds: The bridge has been rebuilt multiple times, with its 600-year-old medieval version requiring constant repairs after fires and collapses. Busy Traffic: It is a vital, busy crossing with an estimated 40,000 people using it daily. Only Crossing: Until 1729, it was the only road bridge across the Thames in London. Unique History: The old bridge once had to have its tolls managed by the City of London to control traffic congestion. Structure Today: The current bridge is a functional, modern concrete-and-steel structure that carries the A3 road.

Very entertaining video!
110 degree average! That's hotter than Dubai! Yikes. Spent a summer in Dubai (working) and it was too hot for the pool most of the time. I suppose you could get up at 5.00am but the minimums there are close to 90! Must be seasonal for winter/early Spring.
Hi There, please, could you go to the city called: Madrid? i just curious, thank you in advanced, regards from Madrid-Spain

Here’s an Oatman story for you: There is a bar in Oatman (I’m not saying which one) that has people put there names on dollar bills and then staple these bills to the bar’s walls. The walls are now covered in these dollar bills. Well, I have been married three times, and I have taken all three of my wives to Oatman. That bar now has three different dollar bills on their walls (in different places) with my name and my then current wife’s name on them who I was married to each time, but none of my wives are aware of the other two dollars stapled there! Who knows, maybe I will get to staple a fourth dollar bill in that bar someday! True Story! 😂
I think those donkeys wanted water
Very interesting towns! And the menu at the restaurant with the 4 flavors of bacon!
Hi! I am Greek and your videos relax me sooo much! Transferring me to a whole different place…thank you!
There was an apocryphal story going around in London at the time that some yank had bought London Bridge because he thought was buying Tower Bridge. This was because crafty local cockneys had the reputation of selling anything to Gullible American tourists.
