  1. Long story short, In the early 1990’s there was a bank in Gratz. One day it was robbed at gun point and the guys left in a vehicle going up Ky 355 towards Carrollton, Ky. I was a young Trooper with the State Police at the time and assigned Carroll County. I met the suspects in the Perry Park area turned on them and the pursuit was on. We went screaming thru Worthville and into Carrollton. By this time there were 3 State Troopers and 2 local PD officers involved in the pursuit. The suspects turned right on US42 and we thought they were gonna try and get to the Markland Bridge to get into Indiana. We did a PIT maneuver forced stop just on the other side of Ghent. The suspect vehicle and two State Police vehicles end up in a corn field. The suspects were arrested at this point without incident. That was one of the highlights with a good outcome of my career. I could honestly say I chased and arrested bank robbers, lol Good Times!!!

  2. Hi there. ? I’m from Oz and I’m watching you drive around these towns around America. The backward towns with lots of home are rundown but most seam to have well maintained cars ? What is going on ???
    Thanks

  3. Joe..your Gratz, KY income figures are flawed I do believe..that $96K figure..where’d that come from?..unless a resident won the lottery recently that figure is supposed to be about $24K..that’s from the Wikipedia demographics for Gratz..so it is a poor town after all.

  4. Thats a lie about the income most was lost during the major flood that took alot of the houses and homes of many people. Gratz is a poor community just as lockport is! I live on the Henry co side of the bridge towards lockport NO RICH PROPLE HERE

  5. I’m from Kentucky, Etown or Elizabethtown: to those who are not familiar with KY dialects- stay off Cecil road unless you’re fearless! 😮👌😊by the way, I’m a Texan girl now! 😊

  6. Well your talking the coal mines they made one million a month an they abandoned everyone an the town itself, an machine s I mean they left those towns from Virginia on down, an left people to die from cancers an pregnant woman birth defects an child deaths. Took there land. It's a shameful thing an nobody does nothing to help them Joe Kennedy abandoned them to he was for the windmills over oil an now he's working for Trump an Trump denouces windmills an wants oil. There's real here in America that need to addressed an they still don't listen or try to help the people

  7. Something worth noting during much of this tour – You see nothing to confirm anyone actually lives here. Yes there are lots of cars parked up, but so what? As for the big shiny Post Office In Pleasureville – why? Population less than 1K receivies one or two sacks of mail each day maybe? Even the brothel suggestion sounds stupid with such tiny numbers.
