Worldwide: Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is embarking upon a global renovation programme, with 20 per cent of its portfolio undergoing active transformation across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
This includes major redevelopment projects at both Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda and Fairmont Grand Hotel Geneva in Switzerland, scheduled for reopening in autumn 2026 and 2027 respectively.

Among the properties undergoing active renovations are Fairmont Pacific Rim – Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; Fairmont Southampton – Bermuda; The Savoy – London, UK; Fairmont Chateau Laurier – Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; Fairmont Tremblant – Mont-Tremblant, Québec, Canada; Fairmont Waterfront – Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; Fairmont Grand Hotel Geneva – Geneva, Switzerland; and Fairmont Le Château Frontenac – Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.
Work has been recently completed at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge – Jasper, Alberta, Canada; Fairmont Pittsburgh – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA; Fairmont Orchid – Waimea, Hawaii, USA; and Fairmont Kea Lani – Maui, Hawaii, USA.
Work will start soon at Fairmont Winnipeg – Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and Fairmont Beijing – Beijing, China.
Across the wider portfolio, Fairmont is making improvements to Fairmont Banff Springs; Fairmont Empress, Victoria; Fairmont Grand Del Mar, San Diego; Fairmont Royal York, Toronto; and Fairmont Nile City in Egypt.
