Carnival Cruise Line has set a delectable new course for its guests, announcing “The Next Course,” a fleetwide wave of exciting culinary experiences. Levering insights from serving over 100 million meals annually to six million guests, the cruise line is introducing innovative dining concepts and refreshing menus across its 29-ship fleet. This major culinary expansion features both fleetwide enhancements and the debut of unique restaurants and bars on upcoming vessels.

To unveil this new chapter, Carnival hosted an immersive event in New Orleans, featuring Chief Culinary Officer Emeril Lagasse. Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, described the initiative as a bold step forward, promising guests unforgettable experiences filled with vibrant flavors.

Upcoming ships Carnival Festivale (debuting in 2027) and Carnival Tropicale (debuting in 2028) will host several brand-new specialty venues. These include Emeril’s Coastal Seafood, Uku Lei Lei featuring Hawaiian and Asian fusion, Fetaccine for Mediterranean flavors, and Le Bistro Musicale, a Parisian-style French bistro exclusive to Festivale. Carnival Festivale will also feature unique bar concepts like The Spark, Mix, and Festival Grounds Coffee & Bar.

Fleetwide, guests can look forward to refreshed menus in the Main Dining Room and Lido Marketplace, including a dedicated Lido Family Menu. BlueIguana Cantina will introduce daily rotating specials, and new options like Bagels @ Sea will be available. Excel-class ships will welcome delightful pop-ups such as Ice Cream and Milkshake Bars. For added convenience, Carnival is expanding grab-and-go options, implementing mobile coffee ordering, and introducing Express Dining in the Main Dining Room for a faster experience.
