  1. Former truck driver here and I saw many states ( albeit through a windshield) saw many glorious sunsets and sun rises, so happy I had that oppertunity, retired now and will prob not see anything for a while.

  2. Old Faithful has been consistently erupting since at least 1870, when it was officially named and documented during the Washburn-Langford-Doane Expedition. While it has erupted over a million times since Yellowstone became a national park in 1872, geological evidence shows the geyser went dormant roughly 800 years ago due to a intense, long-term drought.

  3. Yeah, when I was a Child, Old Faithful was famous for erupting every 60 minutes and having a spectacular height. Now I understand it erupts less often and with less height. Well Flaming Geyser (Near me) has also faltered in regularity and height.

  4. Throughout America, the Grand Canyon is known as the Grand Canyon of the Colorado, the Colorado being the river of the same name! The first time I saw the Grand Canyon, Glen Canyon dam had not yet been built and the Colorado River lived up to its name – – "colorado" being Spanish for "red". Once the dam was built, the reservoir acted as a settling pond and all of the red sediment (accrued from eroding red rock rich in iron) settled to the bottom.
Edit: If your bananas turn black, they're now ready to be used for making Banana Bread! 😋

  5. As an American, I try to tell people who are traveling here that they have to see Yellowstone! So many just don't get it. But once you actually go, you understand. Besides our Constitution, Yellowstone is our second greatest national treasure!

  6. Just found you guys and have been binge watching – yes, I'm subscribed! – and I wanted to comment on how much I love your music compared to other YouTubers I watch. Whatever you are doing or who is picking your music, keep it up! Love it.

  7. So funny! " I'm just tired and so hyper let's have some coffee!" Just love this girl. So enjoying watching this couple see the western states for the first time. Western US is truly beautiful. I hope you guys make it to the Grand Canyon, "It is just a big sandy hole." Would love to see Keely's reaction. Just a delight. I hope you all will be able to go through Utah National Parks. God Bless and stay safe.

  8. I feel ya dears. My half sister came from Portishead UK to visit us in the Smokey Mountains. I took her into Roaring Fork to see Blackbears, Elk, ect… Got all the way around the place and not 1 bear, I could feel her disappointment. We had no sooner driven 500ft out of the park, and there sat a big blackbear in someones front yard. We cried! And she went home with great pics and a fulfilling experience. Glad you saw your spirit bear!

  9. We don't care about the windows, guys, we came for the tears at the beginning.

We have a song called America The Beautiful for a reason.

Thanks for coming over, and I pray that everybody was nice to you.

  10. I live up in the Redwoods and have bears in my yard every year. Famously a black bear ate my neighbor 10 years ago. There are also rattlesnake, scorpions, and mountain lions. Keeps you on your toes. Love your channel and great editing. Thanks

  11. It’s great to be able to see how folks from other places appreciate our beautiful country. Welcome to America. I have bears in my bit of forest. They eat the corn I leave out for the deer.

  12. Of course the Grand Canyon has a river running through it. It's the Colorado River and it empties out into Lake Mead in Nevada and of course it starts in Colorado. Runs year-round! FYI

  13. It’s nice to see you love this beautiful creature so much and I’m glad you do. I’ve been all over the United States. Of course I’m from America. I’ve been very blessed with working hard on my life and now I’m about to go over to your neck of the woods. My family originated from Scotland. So I’m going to go locate my 11th. Great grandfather. We have 10 generations here in America. I can’t wait to go to Scotland. I’m actually going to live there for a couple months. God bless you. I know you’re aware of this, but you said she looks so cuddly. Your intelligent person so you know… She is not cuddly. That is one lady you do not want to mess with. They are however, magnificent.
