US: Outdoor boutique hotel brand Trailborn has appointed Paul Eckert as chief operating officer, who joins from Davidson Hospitality Group.
Eckert most recently served as EVP of operations and business intelligence at Davidson, managing 13 assets from Florida to Hawaii.
Prior to Davidson, Eckert served as VP operations at Interstate Hotels & Resorts where he built out the company’s lifestyle vertical.
In total, he brings 30 years of experience to his role with Trailborn.
Mike Weiss and Ben Weinberg, co-founders and co-CEOs of Trailborn Hotels & Resorts, said: “Paul is a proven leader with a deep understanding of how to scale operations without compromising guest experience or culture. As we enter our next chapter with larger, more complex resort-style properties like Trailborn Jackson Hole and a multi-property campus in Mendocino, Paul’s operational rigour, track record of achieving top guest satisfaction, and passion for hospitality make him the ideal partner to help us build enduring systems, empower our on-property teams, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.”
Eckert’s appointment comes as Trailborn prepares to open Hill House at Trailborn Mendocino, and the summer debut of Trailborn Jackson Hole.
