Shake Shack adds a chief commercial officer and more restaurant leadership changes

Shake Shack announced the appointment of Jim Taylor as chief commercial officer, a new addition to the leadership structure. Taylor will lead the marketing and culinary teams and oversee the fast-casual chain’s revenue and growth strategy, reporting to CEO Rob Lynch. Taylor spent more than 11 years with Inspire Brands and was president of Sonic. He also held leadership roles with Arby’s, as president and chief marketing officer. Before that, he worked with Darden Restaurants’ (then) Red Lobster and Olive Garden brands.

Cava has named JeRayle Franklin as senior director of talent acquisition. He joins Cava with more than 14 years in corporate recruiting, talent acquisition strategy and employer brand elevation.

Amanda Parker has been promoted to vice president of marketing at 11-unit Vicious Biscuit, where she will lead the brand strategy for growth and guest engagement as the chain plans for 10 new locations this year. Parker served most recently as director of marketing for the brand after joining the company in 2022. Before that, she spent five years with Chick-fil-A.

Kevin Armantrout has been named COO for Bagels & Co. In his new role, Armantrout will be responsible for leading expansion of the brand beyond Florida and Pennsylvania. His previous experience includes positions as president and COO of Another Broken Egg Café and franchise president & corporate VP of operations for Ruth’s Chris.

The National Restaurant Association announced Keri Stockland as the new CFO. In this role, she will lead the financial strategy and budget for both the National Restaurant Association and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. Stockland brings more than 25 years of experience as a corporate and non-profit executive to the job.
