Rosewood São Paulo proudly announces the latest addition to its leadership team: Managing Director Marie-Berengere Chapoton. With over 25 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, Marie brings global expertise and visionary leadership to the hotel.
She has held senior leadership positions in 11 countries at hotels under Accor, including Raffles, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, and Sofitel. Marie has led hotel openings, brand repositioning, and major events such as the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games in Brazil.
Most recently, Marie transformed Raffles Al Areen Palace & Spa Bahrain into a model property, elevating service culture and brand standards while strengthening stakeholder relations. She also served as Vice President representing Bahrain on the Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France (CCEF), showcasing her experience within global international organizations.
Marie is known for an entrepreneurial leadership style that is culturally sensitive and deeply rooted in art, sustainability, and community engagement. Her arrival marks a new chapter in the hotel’s journey.
