New York-based Zaro’s Family Bakery, a fourth-generation family business serving Black & White Cookies and classic baked goods, is offering licensing opportunities to help it expand. The bakery added a location earlier this year at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey, and is opening one in the Bronx at Manhattan University.
Through these university partnerships executed by Gourmet Dining and Lorenzo Food Group, Zaro’s is extending its commitment to providing authentic, high-quality baked goods while sharing its generations-old recipes with a new audience.
“For nearly a century, our family has been passionate about delivering the finest, freshly baked goods to New Yorkers and visitors alike,” Brian Zaro, fourth-generation owner of Zaro’s Family Bakery, said in the release. “With our expansion into universities, we’re thrilled to bring a taste of home to campuses and continue connecting people through our family’s time-honored recipes.”
Zaro’s Family Bakery was founded in 1927. It has locations in high-traffic areas in New York City and New Jersey, such as Grand Central Terminal, Penn Station and Port Authority. The university licensing locations join LaGuardia and Newark airport licensing locations, executed in partnership with Villa Restaurant Group.
