The Atmosâ„¢ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® Credit Card is the latest premium Alaska Airlines cobranded card unveiled alongside refreshes of Alaska’s two existing cards. The card’s release marks the launch of Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines’ combined loyalty program, Atmos Rewards.
Points and miles enthusiasts are buzzing about the Summit’s earning rates and benefits. Prospective cardholders may wonder if they’re eligible for the card and to earn its welcome bonus, especially if they currently hold or previously held an Alaska Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines card.
Before you apply, let’s determine if you meet the eligibility criteria for the Atmos Rewards Summit card.
Atmos Rewards Summit welcome offer and benefits
One of the highlights of applying for a new card is the opportunity to earn a welcome bonus.
All three Atmos Rewards credit cards currently have large welcome offers, but the Atmos Rewards Summit has the highest offer of the three.
New cardholders can earn 100,000 bonus points and a 25,000-point Global Companion Award after spending $6,000 on purchases within the first 90 days from account opening.
In addition to a generous welcome offer, cardholders earn:
- 3 points per dollar spent on Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines purchases
- 3 points per dollar spent on eligible dining purchases
- 3 points per dollar spent on foreign transactions
- 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases
As a premium card, some of its notable benefits include:

What if you’re an existing Alaska or Hawaiian cardholder?
The Alaska Airlines Visa Signature Card® (no longer available) has been converted to the Atmos™ Rewards Ascent Visa Signature® Credit Card and the Alaska Airlines Visa® Business Credit Card (no longer available) is now the Atmos™ Rewards Visa Signature® Business Card.
You won’t be eligible for a welcome bonus on either of these cards if you currently have them, because your old accounts would have changed over.
However, if you currently hold the Hawaiian Airlines® World Elite Mastercard® or the Hawaiian Airlines® Business Mastercard®, you would potentially qualify for the Atmos Rewards Summit card.
The information for the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature, Alaska Airlines Visa Business, Hawaiian Airlines Mastercard and Hawaiian Airlines Business cards has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.

TPG Managing Editor Clint Henderson had both his personal and business Alaska cards converted to the new Atmos Rewards equivalent and was instantly approved when applying for the Atmos Rewards Summit card. He is also a cardholder of both the personal and business versions of the Hawaiian Airlines cards.

What are the eligibility requirements for the Atmos Rewards Summit?
In short, since the Atmos Rewards Summit is a newly released card, most people applying for the card should be eligible to earn the welcome offer. To increase your chances of approval, you should have a credit score of at least 670.

There is no family restriction on holding more than one Atmos Rewards card or earning the welcome bonuses.
So if you’re planning on applying for the Atmos Rewards Ascent or the Atmos Rewards Business, you can earn the welcome bonus on either card alongside the bonus on the Atmos Rewards Summit.

Don’t forget Bank of America’s application rules
Now that we’ve covered eligibility for existing cardholders of other Atmos Rewards cards, don’t rush to apply before you consider Bank of America’s application restrictions.
The most common rule you’ll likely be subject to is the 2/3/4 rule. This means you can only get approved for two new Bank of America cards in a 30-day period, three cards in a 12-month period and four cards in a 24-month period.
This applies to personal cards and not Bank of America-issued business cards.

What’s the best strategy for getting the Atmos Rewards Summit?
If you’re thinking about applying for the Atmos Rewards Summit card and other Atmos Rewards cards, there are several paths you can take.
Apply for the Atmos Rewards Summit first
Since the Atmos Rewards Summit is brand-new, apply for this card first to secure the high welcome offer.
Apply for a personal and business Atmos Rewards card
If you were planning on applying for two cards within a short period of time, consider applying for the Atmos Rewards Summit and the Atmos Rewards Business to maximize your chances of approval. (But remember the Bank of America restrictions.)

Applying for more than one Atmos Rewards card can unlock substantial value.
New Atmos Rewards Business cardholders earn a welcome bonus of 80,000 bonus points and a $99 Companion Fare (plus taxes and fees from $23) after spending $5,000 or more on purchases within the first 90 days from account opening.
Paired with the Atmos Rewards Summit card, you’ll have more than 180,000 bonus points after meeting the minimum spending requirement on each card, enabling you to maximize the program’s great award chart.
The bonus points are enough for a one-way business-class ticket on Japan Airlines from Los Angeles to Tokyo for 75,000 points or on Qatar Airways from New York to Doha for 70,000 points.
In addition, by holding another Atmos Rewards card, you broaden your points-earning potential. You’ll earn 2 points per dollar spent at electric vehicle charging stations and gas stations, on local transit (including ride-hailing services), and on shipping purchases.

By holding both cards, you’ll maximize the Atmos Rewards program’s offerings, including the ability to earn elite status with Alaska and its Oneworld equivalent through eligible credit card spending.
Atmos Rewards Business cardholders earn 1 status point for every $3 in eligible spending (up to 30,000 status points per year), while Atmos Rewards Summit cardholders earn 1 status point for every $2 spent, with no spending cap. Beginning in 2026, status earnings will no longer be capped on the business card.

Bottom line
As it’s a new credit card, many applicants may be eligible to apply for the Atmos Rewards Summit and earn its welcome bonus, given that you have an eligible credit score and are not in violation of Bank of America’s 2/3/4 rule.
For Oneworld loyalists and those looking to earn elite status and take advantage of a great award chart, the new Atmos Rewards Summit can be your investment in this new loyalty program.
