Irvine, California-based WaBa Grill, a rice bowl chain, has added Thai Tea to the menu. Inspired by the flavors of Southeast Asia Thai Tea features sweetened black tea, 2% milk, cinnamon, cardamom and star anise.
Available at the chain’s nearly 200 locations, the beverage underscores its commitment to menu innovation rooted in Asian-inspired flavors, resulting in healthy, satisfying meals that nourish the body and soul, said Andrew Kim, president and CEO.
“Our new Thai Tea offers guests a delicious, boldly flavored beverage that strikes the perfect balance between health and indulgence, and serves as an excellent complement to their favorite WaBa bowl, plate, taco trio or salad,” he said in a company press release. “Our customer base includes Gen Zers, Millennials, busy parents and budget-conscious consumers, all of whom we believe will enjoy the diversity and satisfying flavor that the new Thai Tea adds to our menu.”
