MADERA COUNTY–Rebecca Martinez, County Clerk-Recorder and Registrar of Voters, announced today that in order to be eligible to vote in the November 5, 2024, Consolidated General Election, persons must register to vote by Monday, October 21, 2024.
In order to be eligible to register to vote at the November 5th Consolidated General Election, you must be a United States Citizen, live in Madera County, and be 18 years old on or before Election Day.
Since the passage of Proposition 17 in 2020 and the law was changed, individuals who are currently on parole for the conviction of a felony, may now register and vote. Know your rights and register to vote today!
Registered voters who have moved or changed their name must re-register by October 21st.
Voter registration cards are available at the County Clerk’s office (call to request a card by mail or come in), local Post Offices, local Libraries, or register to vote online at www.votemadera.com or www.registertovote.ca.gov.
