Australia: The boutique luxury EVE Hotel has named Ben Mellor as general manager ahead of its opening in Sydney’s Wunderlich Lane precinct this year.
Mellor joins the property from InterContinental Sydney Double Bay, where he also held the position of general manager. Additional experience includes senior management roles at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth and Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains.
The EVE Hotel, which is due to open later this year, is owned by TOGA Group and operated by TFE Hotels.
It offers 102 guest rooms, a landscaped roof deck with a 20-metre swimming pool, a rooftop bar and Mexican restaurant, and a lobby bar operated by Liquid & Larder.
