Austria: The Companion Hospitality Group will open The Companion Vienna in March this year, located at the city’s Westbahnhof.
The hotel has been designed by Berlin-based firm weStudio under the direction of Piotr Wiśniewski.
It features 138 rooms across six categories, including the two-level Velvet Suite. Amenities include the Boca mediterranean restaurant, developed by Lauryn Therin, alongside the Bar Calypso.
Companion Hospitality Group said: “The Companion will be a place for people who stay curious. For travellers who don’t just check Vienna off a list, but truly experience it. For locals who crave good drinks, good food and real conversations.”
The group was co-founded by Kai Hollmann, Florian Kollenz, Christian Lainer and Michael Todt. In addition to the upcoming hotel, the portfolio includes the 178-room Superbude Vienna which features a rooftop restaurant, a cafe and bar.
