sneakybird, a quick, craft, casual approach to signature oven-grilled chicken sandwiches, wraps, tenders, and wings complemented by tater tots, and fresh chilled veggies, is honoring its two-year anniversary in spring 2025 with a slew of its biggest announcements to date.
Starting today, each of sneakybird’s locations across Arizona will welcome sliders to the menu.
“We are utilizing our perfectly crunchy, juicy, oven-grilled tenders as the base for the new menu offerings, pairing them with a smaller version of our soft, lightly sweet, rich brioche bread and the guests’ choice of several spectacular dry rubs and sauces, resulting in several dozen flavor combinations,” said Dan Chaon, founder and chief executive officer of the brand.
According to Chaon, the dry rubs run the gamut from garlic butter parmesan and smoky honey and peach to jalapeño garlic ranch and lemon pepper. Of course, for those who prefer something that feels more like grilled chicken, the sliders may also be ordered “naked,” which means they are oven-grilled breadless with their signature seasoning blend of salt, pepper, and garlic dry rub. There are also several crave-worthy sauces to accompany the sliders, which can be enjoyed on their own or with a side of sneaky coleslaw (house slaw with a hint of the brand’s signature sneaky sauce) and/or crispy tater tots.
“Through cutting-edge technology, we’ve mastered a cooking process that locks in all the mouth-watering flavor and juiciness without using any added ingredients. Enjoy the crunch and savor the taste, all while keeping it guilt-free,” said Chaon.
In addition to the slider launch, April also marked the opening of sneakybird’s hotly anticipated fourth Arizona restaurant. Located at the fast-growing Marketplace at Hudson Station in Queen Creek, the new eatery is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
“We are also celebrating the spring and our second anniversary season with the formal launch of Camp sneaky, a philanthropic platform to deepen each individual location’s connection to the local community,” said Chaon.
Camp sneaky is sneakybird’s community giving arm and is focused on supporting education at all levels.
“Through Camp sneaky, we will work with schools, teachers, students, and parents on fundraising programs to create meaningful change, ensuring our brand stands for more than just the world’s best chicken,” said Chaon.
For groups seeking a fundraising partner, Camp sneaky is formally open putting together fundraising nights near its current four locations in Arizona with a portion of proceeds being donated directly back to the organization. In addition to the event itself, the sneakybird marketing team will also work with all partners on collateral and social media support to help make an even bigger impact.
“We’ve been testing Camp sneaky for the past several months, partnering on fundraising programs with local schools, and we are seeing the communities come out in a big way,” said Chaon, noting that programs need not have a formal 501c3 designation nor be a formal school to qualify for funding. Organizations looking to partner with any of the locations may inquire in person or connect online with the brand to get the ball rolling.
The anniversary comes at a time of major growth for the brand, which has plans to open its fifth Arizona location – set for Arcadia – in coming months and recently announced its plans to expand further across the state with several locations in development over the next year.
“When I envisioned this brand, which uses a state-of-the art oven and innovative breading recipe that that together combine to give the crunch and flavor of fried chicken, I saw it as the ultimate sneaky-good and sneaky guilt-free option for families like mine, our friends, and even those on the go at lunch between meetings,” said Chaon. “Just two years later, and we are poised to take our Never Ever Fried® recipes countywide, and eventually nationwide.”
