Smalls Sliders is adding six locations, known as “Smorange Cans,” in the Southeast Houston region of Texas thanks to an agreement with entrepreneur Matthew Wiggins.

Building off two multi-unit deals in the thriving city, one for five Cans and another for seven, the brand has over 15 Cans slated to open in Houston, eying real estate in Pearland, League City, Galveston, Kemah, Texas City and Friendswood.

“Texas is hot right now for growth, especially for Smalls Sliders as we have over nearly 100 Cans under development in the state alone,” Don Crocker, chief development officer of Smalls Sliders, said in a company press release. “Houston is home to many Frequent Sliders already, and we can’t wait to bring our Smaucy experience to more communities throughout the area.”

Founded in 2019 in Atlanta, Smalls Sliders, the brainchild of restaurateur Brandon Landry, is led by CEO Maria Rivera and backed by 10 Point Capital and former NFL star Drew Brees.
