Europe: Boutique hotel group Beaumier has appointed Billy Skelli-Cohen as its CEO, effective 1 January 2025.
Skelli-Cohen joins Beaumier from Zien Group, the parent company of the Eden Hotels brand, where he spent two years as CEO.
Prior to Zien, Skelli-Cohen founded and led the lifestyle hotel company Lore Group, which comprises an independent portfolio including Sea Containers in London, the Pulitzer Amsterdam, and Riggs Washington DC.
He succeeds Eric Dardé at Beaumier, who spent 11 years with the company and the previous five as CEO.
“Beaumier is an incredible collection of properties in exceptional European locations. I am truly honoured to join as CEO and help lead a team of passionate and dedicated professionals,” said Skelli-Cohen.
“In 2021, Les Hôtels d’en Haut became Beaumier which has since developed into a best-in-class brand of hotels dedicated to their unique location and culture with a strong commitment to sustainability and nature preservation. The company is poised to continue its impressive growth in new and exciting destinations, and I am thrilled at the opportunity to lead the company in this exciting next chapter,” he added.
Beaumier currently owns and operates 11 hotels in France and Spain and has recently debuted in Switzerland with the opening of Grand Hotel Belvedere in Wengen.
