Big Chicken, the fast-casual brand founded by former NBA player and entrepreneur Shaquille O’Neal, has opened two restaurants in Honduras, marking its expansion into Central America. The units opened in March at Plaza Masdeval on Boulevard Mackey in San Pedro Sula and Plaza Corvey in La Ceiba.
Thomas Talarico, CEO and partner of BLT UK Holdings Limited, oversees Central American operations and plans additional Big Chicken expansion in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala and Panama.
Big Chicken has more than 40 locations, with dozens in development across North America, Central America and other international markets.
