US: Lifestyle hospitality company Sbe has unveiled more details about The Estate, its new luxury health and wellness hotel brand, having released an initial teaser three months ago.

Comprising a global network of luxury wellness resorts and residential properties, The Estate has been founded on a commitment to providing “functional and preventive” medicine through diagnostics and therapeutics powered by longevity clinic operator Fountain Life.

Each Estate location will offer a range of medi-wellness services and spa treatments by Clinique La Prairie to its guests, including holistic therapies, sports and fitness programmes and a nutritious menu working with medical diagnostics to promote self-healing.

In addition, Sbe will work with Fountain Life to establish a network of urban longevity centres in its major markets to expand its wellness services beyond the hotel experience.

Sbe founder Sam Nazarian conceived the luxury health and wellness concept prior to the pandemic with author and life and business strategist, Tony Robbins, while American singer-songwriter Marc Anthony and business innovation leader Richard Attias are also involved with the project.

Sbe founder Sam Nazarian said: “In 2006, I created SLS Hotels, a brand both relevant and disruptive for the emerging lifestyle industry. Then, lifestyle was ‘access’, now luxury is ‘longevity’. The Estate will lead with luxury.

“We’re not building medical hotels – we are building luxury hotels, residences and urban clinics that are differentiated by a commitment to changing people’s lives,” added Nazarian.

To further develop its concept, Sbe will seek to identify, prevent and treat conditions that reduce lifespan and diminish one’s quality of life.

Looking ahead, The Estate is planning to open 15 hotels and residences and 10 urban longevity centres by 2030. The first hotels and residences are scheduled to open in 2026 in the UK, St Kitts, Trento in Northern Italy, and Montreux in Switzerland, while Miami and countries in the GCC are due to follow suit after that.

Meanwhile, the first longevity centre will be open by the end of 2024 at Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
