Italy: Ruby Group has signed its third property in Italy, located in the Isola district of Milan.
The project is being developed in collaboration with Kervis SGR S.p.A., an Italian real estate investment and asset management company. It is located directly at Zara metro station.
Set to open in 2028, the hotel will feature 128 rooms with ground floor F&B and an inner courtyard terrace. The project combines several existing buildings into one cohesive hotel concept.
Catherine Hilt, head of development for southern Europe at Ruby Group, said: “Milan is a core European market with strong year-round demand driven by both business and leisure travel, supported by its international profile and distinctive design culture. The city’s emphasis on efficiency, individuality, and quality design aligns closely with the Ruby Hotels brand.”
Giancarlo Patri, partner and head of investment management at Kervis SGR, added: “This transaction, which brings the Ruby Hotels brand to Milan for the first time, strengthens Kervis’ positioning in a structurally growing market segment, enhancing an urban asset through an adaptive reuse project that combines architectural quality, sustainability, and tangible benefits for the city.”
The Milan hotel joins additional Ruby properties in Florence in Rome.
