A #QSRNext session will explore innovative delivery strategies and the cutting-edge technology making it happen.

The QSR industry, built on the foundation of speed and convenience, has found a cornerstone in delivery services. As consumer demands continue to evolve, QSRs are racing to stay ahead of the curve by exploring innovative delivery strategies and leveraging cutting-edge technology.

A session at the half-day virtual event #QSRNext, “Delivering QSR Domination: Gearing Up for the Future of Fast Food Delivery,” will delve into the future of delivery, highlighting emerging trends and discussing strategies to navigate the rapidly changing landscape.

#QSRNext is a half-day virtual event that is free for qualified restaurant operators and owners held on Nov. 13, 2024. It is put on by Networld Media Group, which owns Fastcasual.com, PizzaMarketplace.com, QSRweb.com and FoodTruckOperator.com.

The speaker for the session is Betsy Schmandt, president and COO of A&W Restaurants Inc.

Schmandt said delivery is the next big growth channel for QSRs.

“Customers crave convenience, and delivery allows them to enjoy their favorite meals when and where they choose,” she said in an email interview. “The secret to success is not so secret — be where customers are and offer delicious food at a fair price. Customers want to order meals online and enjoy their food in the comfort of their home. Restaurants who provide that quality and convenience on a consistent basis will see their sales grow with delivery. At one time, drive-throughs were the new and exciting technological breakthrough and growth channel for QSRs – and we were around to respond to that shift too. Delivery is what’s next in QSR service.”
