Europe: Radisson Hotel Group has rebranded its midscale lifestyle brand prizeotel to Prize by Radisson, as well as revealing two hotel signings in Germany and Poland.
Radisson acquired a 49 per cent stake in the German hotel brand prizeotel in 2016, and purchased the remaining 51 per cent in 2019.
The current portfolio consists of 21 properties in operation and under development across Europe.
Now continuing as Prize by Radisson, the brand’s latest additions include its debut in Poland alongside expansion in Germany.
The new-build Prize by Radisson, Gdansk City is scheduled to open in 2026 and will offer 126 rooms, a restaurant and a bar.
Prize by Radisson, Berlin City, is expected to launch in 2027 and forms part of a mixed-use development in the Prenzlauer district. The project is targeting a DGNB Gold certification while the 315-room hotel will feature a hotel lobby bar, social area, coworking space, and breakfast restaurant all on the top floor.
Elie Younes, executive vice president and global chief development officer at Radisson Hotel Group, said: “The rebranding and expansion of Prize by Radisson is an impactful milestone to expand the global reach of the brand and increase its international appeal to our guests and owners.”
Connor Ryterski, managing director of Prize by Radisson, added: “The rebranding of prizeotel to Prize by Radisson marks a pivotal moment in our growth strategy. With this move, we are excited to expand the Prize by Radisson footprint and continue to deliver exceptional guest experiences to travellers across key central landmarks whilst demonstrating the support, commercial excellence and security of belonging to an international hotel chain to our owners.”
