Ol Jogi is one of Africa’s most impressive private wildlife conservancies. It has been family-owned for over 40 years and is a haven for the preservation and future development of Wildlife Conservation. The landscape, which consists of 58,000 acres of unspoiled wildlife habitat in Kenya’s Laikipia County, astounds and is unique in its diversity within Kenya. Ol Jogi provides guests with a personalised experience that accommodates all of their specific requests and preferences.
The Conservancy is Kenya’s second-largest rhino sanctuary. Houses the only grizzly bear in Africa. The bear is named Potap, a gift from Russia, the bear is 19 years old and the lifespan for a bear is 35 years. The real treasure lies in the untouched nature, the wildlife that unfolds before you. It’s such a wonderful place.
The Ol Jogi Conservancy in Laikipia is only accessible to the few lucky guests, is a paradise of free-roaming African wildlife—with 300 or so rangers protecting myriad endangered species from 65 rhinos to 5,000 reticulated giraffes and 15 per cent of the world’s remaining Grevy’s zebra population. Not to mention herds of peacefully moseying elephants, lions, Cape buffalo…the whole starry cast of Africa’s enchanting animals. The Conservancy, and the elegant cottage at its centre, are prime examples of the ranch’s commitment to presenting Africa in warmly enveloping comfort and serene privacy.
A tourist may enjoy game drives, horseback riding, walking with baboons, visiting the Twala Cultural Centre, and various other activities.

Ol Jogi Conservancy Accommodation Rates
Ol Jogi is open all year round with a minimum 3-night stay required, and a minimum 5-night stay required at Christmas and New Year blocked weeks. Ol Jogi can accommodate any number of guests, year-round, between the Main House cottages and the Under The Stars luxury tents. Upon special request, the owner’s private residence, Rock House, may be offered for a maximum of 4 adults (sharing 2 rooms).

- For any early arrival, the common areas will be available; rooms are only available as of 15:00hrs.
