MADERA – The County of Madera is proud to announce the appointment of Madera resident Dominic Tyburski as the new Public Works Director. With over 27 years of experience in public infrastructure, engineering, and project management, Mr. Tyburski brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to the department. Mr. Tyburski is a licensed Civil Engineer and has earned a Civil Engineering degree from CSU Fresno. Mr Tyburski also has a Master of Public Administration degree from Arkansas State University.
As Public Works Director, Mr. Tyburski will oversee essential services, including road maintenance, capital improvement projects, development services, and solid waste management, ensuring that Madera County’s infrastructure meets the needs of our growing community. The Public Works Department has a budget of more than $330 million and a staff of 150.

Mr. Tyburski joins Madera County following his tenure as the Public Works Director for Kings County. He served 13 years and, most recently, as their Public Works Director for the previous four.
