UK: The 195-room Mama Shelter London Shoreditch hotel has permanently closed, with coliving operator ARK rebranding the site.
Mama Shelter London Shoreditch closed on 1st February 2026 after six years of operation. The hotel marked the London debut of the brand when it opened in 2019.
Ennismore has confirmed that the hotel is now undergoing a change of use. Rebranding by coliving operator ARK is currently taking place at the site.
While the ARK team declined to comment on the project and other prospective individual locations, co-founder Jermaine Browne said: “The platform is expected to continue expanding over the coming years as demand for community-led living grows.”
