  1. I booked Excalibur for my short CES Trip with two additional days of sightseeing and gambling. But I have choosen a „newly renovated room“. Expect nothing, but it was quite cheap. Not the accomodation I would choose for honeymoon. 🤣

  2. I've stayed at Excalibur twice on my trips to Vegas. It's fine. It's a budget property, and the location is better than Luxor and definitely Mandalay Bay, it's a relatively short walk to be right on the main section of the Strip. Planet Hollywood is probably my favorite, though. Nice rooms, decent pricing, good location, and I definitely gotta agree about The Earl of Sandwich. Also, credit to security at Flamingo, my friend misplaced her phone, and security had it recovered and returned to us in just a few minutes.

  3. The detailed and facile overview of so many Las Vegas properties was outstanding in concept, execution, and editing. Unfortunately disappointing was the unsettlingly truncated wrap-up at the end. You state your best and worst, yes, but offer no further insight or commentary whatsoever. That coda seemed out of step with the quality, depth, and spirit of everything leading up to it. It felt like a delicious multi-course meal, followed by the reveal of Now and Laters as the surprise under the dessert cloche. That hopefully constructive criticism notwithstanding, well done! Thanks for such an informative deep dive.

  4. Personally I like the Venetian . Central location, huge campus, lots of restaurants, nice rooms. I went to the BSB at sphere , and it was awesome to spend basically 3 days doing things within the Palazzo/ Venetian campus. 🤔

  5. I only just saw this. Haven’t visited Vegas in a while, but I’m guessing that the hotel you’d never stay at again is Circus Circus.

Edit: So you didn’t even bother with Circus Circus. Honestly? Fair. 😂

  6. Man I remember staying 4 deep in one of those Go Rooms at Flamingo in the 2000s when they were first redone. We were used to staying at the Imperial Palace and we thought we had made it! Great video.

  7. Interesting, very, VERY few reviewers mention the Trump hotel. I don’t think there’s a casino there but…it’s a strip hotel, the rooms are probably cheap?. I mean, I wouldn’t give him a cent of my travel money, but others wouldn’t care if they did.

  8. funny, your take is same as mine from way back in the 90's-early mid 2000's..yes, 20-25 yrs ago!!!! Luxor, Excalibur, NYNY, Strait, Hilton's, all "meh"….Bellagio, Venetian, Encore were the better stays then….Hurrah, Mirage were the mid range convenient choices…heck, I still love the Mirage and shame they sold it to tear it all down given it was the iconic hotel casino which forever changed Vegas into something entirely different….If Mirage didn't do as well as it did, there would be no Bellagio, Venetian, Paris, Wynn/Encore, etc…Mandalay, when it opened, it had the best smelling rooms!!! And their pool, let's just say it was the BEST place to hook up, it had the vibe that coined the What happened in Vegas Stays in Vegas….
