Japan: Hyatt Hotels Corporation has entered into a management agreement with Takenaka Corporation to open Andaz Hiroshima in 2027.
Andaz Hiroshima will occupy the 21-31st floors of a mixed-use, high-rise redevelopment project, located in central Hiroshima.
The hotel will offer 235 guest rooms and suites as well as restaurants, a rooftop bar, a fitness centre with indoor pool, and event spaces.
It marks the second Andaz hotel in Japan, joining a site in Tokyo.
Amar Lalvani, president and creative director of Hyatt’s lifestyle division, said: “Andaz Hiroshima will create a new pathway to explore Hiroshima’s culture. From music to makers, the local creative scene is thriving. Our guests will have an inside view of who and what are shaping this profound city’s future.”
