Holland America Line has launched a special “Cruise Week” promotion running from January 5 to January 12, 2026, featuring a significant partnership with Cruise Critic and the television game show “Wheel of Fortune.” For this week, Holland America Line is the exclusive cruise brand highlighted on the show. Episodes airing from January 5 to 9 will showcase various destinations and award contestants with cruise prizes valued between $7,000 and $9,000. These prizes include itineraries to Alaska, the Caribbean, Northern Europe, and Canada and New England. Additionally, Cruise Critic is providing a $250 onboard credit to accompany each cruise prize won during the show.

To coincide with this national exposure, Holland America Line has enhanced its “Start Your Journey” sale. During Cruise Week, travelers can book over 500 select cruises sailing from summer 2026 through spring 2027 with a reduced deposit of only $25. The sale also includes free stateroom upgrades in certain categories, fare discounts of up to 30 percent, and free fares for children traveling as third or fourth guests. A special code is available for Alaska bookings to receive up to $200 in shore excursion credits.

Executives from both companies view this collaboration as a way to inspire travel and bring the experience of cruising into homes across America. This initiative combines high-visibility media integration with financial incentives to encourage early booking for the upcoming travel seasons. The promotion highlights the cruise line’s long-standing expertise in key regions like Alaska and Europe while offering tangible savings for new bookings.
