This article will look at the Bamburi Haller Park entrance fees. The park is situated on the North Coast of Mombasa along the Mombasa-Malindi road, next to the Bamburi Cement factory on the Kenyan coast. Haller Park was established in 1971 after transforming one of Bamburi Cement’s abandoned quarries into an ecological area.
Haller Park was the first recipient of the UNEP Global 500 Roll of Honour award for its unique, ecologically sound, and successful rehabilitation undertaken. Bamburi Haller Park offers a series of visitor experiences that include;
1. A Wildlife Sanctuary that is home to Hippos-Sally and Potty, a buffalo, elands, oryx, and a group of waterbirds like eagles, herons, egrets, cormorants, and kingfishers Owls Banda that hosts a Verreaux Eagle Owl
2. An Animal Orphanage that is a quarantine and home to rescued animals, either found sick, injured, orphaned, or stranded in the wild. Giraffe Feeding platform for feeding giraffes in the park, Crocodile Pens, home to over 90 crocodiles, including juveniles.
3. Warthog Bomas, which hosts warthogs.
4. Reptile Park, which is among the most modern reptile parks in the region, is home to rescued reptiles in the region. It hosts more than 20 species of snakes, lizards, tortoises, and terrapins. Common snakes found in the park are pythons, mambas, cobras, bush snakes, and vipers.
5. Aquaculture and Fish Farm: several interconnected small lakes, ponds, and swamps excavated on the quarry floor that are home to various birds, fish, and reptiles. Fish farms are where fish are farmed, bred, and sold. Fish farms include Nile tilapia, catfish, red tilapia, and guppies.
6. Botanical Gardens, have a variety of plant species introduced during the quarry rehabilitation. The collection of vegetation found in these gardens was initially used to diversify the forest. The gardens are now used to consolidate many functions and bring new meaning to park activities, especially conservation education.
7. The Animal Orphanage, is home to rescued animals that were found injured, stranded, sick, or orphaned. These animals include Kudu, tortoises, warthogs, and oryx.
8. Conferencing Facilities, sitting right at the centre of the park is an auditorium with a seating capacity of 80 people. The serene surrounding inspires creative thinking for group sessions.
9. A Butterfly Pavilion, situated in a botanical garden where butterfly rearing and conservation take place. A leisurely walk around the exhibition house allows you to see a variety of butterfly species in their iridescent colors and beauty.
10. Forest Walk: The park has a considerable stretch of forest that a visitor gets to walk through while observing the beautifully transformed quarry featuring mangroves, palms, and indigenous shade trees in coastal forests, where several of these are rare and endangered.

The park offers a series of learning experiences for learners in the context of mining and quarry rehabilitation. These activities are designed to respond to the needs of learners of all categories, ranging from preschoolers to postgraduates. Activities include:

The best time to visit Haller Park is during feeding time: First, is the Giraffe feeding at 2:45 pm then at 4 pm is the Hippos Feeding, ending with the Crocodile feeding at 4:30.
