Deliverect, a global food tech SaaS company that processed its 1 billionth order this week, has appointed former Papa John’s executive Justin Falciola as its president of the Americas. Zhong Xu, CEO of Deliverect, said both milestones underscored its focus on AI-driven growth in the digital restaurant operations sector.

Falciola previously served as chief analytics and technology officer at Papa John’s, where he oversaw technology and digital solutions for over 6,000 restaurants and contributed to a $1 billion increase in digital sales between 2019 and 2021. He also held the position of chief technology and growth officer at CKE Restaurant Holdings, parent company of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s.

Xu said Falciola’s experience in driving digital innovation made him the ideal leader to help scale the company’s AI capabilities.

Deliverect, which serves over 68,000 locations in over 52 countries, aims to accelerate its AI-first vision to enhance restaurant performance.

Falciola said he was excited about the opportunity, noting that Deliverect’s AI capabilities are “already helping global brands reduce wait times, predict demand, and make smarter decisions in real time.” He added that the company is “uniquely positioned to serve the U.S., already our largest market.”

The company’s platform is designed to handle billions of digital orders and boasts over 1,000 integrations. Deliverect provides on- and off-premise solutions for digital sales and works with chains such as Taco Bell, Little Caesars, Burger King UK and Pret A Manger.
