Worldwide: Luxury boutique brand EDITION Hotels has appointed George Fleck as senior vice president and global brand leader.

Fleck has been with Marriott International for more than 20 years, including 15 years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts. 

Most recently, he served as vice president and global brand leader for W Hotels, which Fleck will continue alongside his new role with EDITION.

Prior to this, he held the same position for St. Regis Hotels & Resorts.

With EDITION, Fleck will oversee all aspects of the brand’s culture, training platforms, hotel openings, design evolution, marketing strategy, nightlife programming, and food and beverage concept development.

“I am honoured to step into this role and usher EDITION into its next chapter,” said Fleck. “As we continue to expand globally, our commitment to setting the standard for elevated and culturally-connected hospitality remains unwavering. I look forward to working with the talented EDITION team to continue the work that has been done to scale and build a coveted modern luxury brand.”

Fleck assumes his new role as EDITION prepares to open hotels in Lake Como, Dali and the Red Sea next year.
