Cycas expands development team

Europe: Third-party operator Cycas Hospitality has expanded its development team with the promotions of Craig Patterson to CDO and Jeroen Steensma to director of feasibility and development. 

Patterson has held a nine year career with Cycas, including six years within the development team. He steps into the role of chief development officer from his previous position as VP development and property.

Steensma joined Cycas in 2021 and completed the group’s internal annual leadership development programme in 2023. In his director role, Steensma will oversee market analysis and evaluate potential projects.

Matt Luscombe, chief executive officer at Cycas Hospitality, said: “I’m incredibly proud to celebrate these exciting career milestones for Craig and Jeroen. Cycas’ European portfolio consists of 55 assets spanning 13 countries. Properties range from limited service to luxury and includes spa, lifestyle and extended-stay hotels, as well as co-living and serviced apartments.
