Instead, it will celebrate guest loyalty through their total cruise spending and even everyday purchases made with the upcoming Carnival Rewards Mastercard. This gives passengers incredible flexibility and control, allowing them to earn points on cruise fares and onboard purchases and redeem them for nearly any Carnival offering, from relaxing spa treatments and specialty dining to future voyages.
Current members of the Very Important Fun Person (VIFP) program can look forward to a seamless transition. Carnival is ensuring that all existing VIFP members will have their status protected and transferred to the new program for a generous two-year period, with top-tier Diamond members maintaining their status for six years. As Carnival President Christine Duffy noted, this evolution honors the brand’s loyal guests while building an exciting future where every aspect of the Carnival experience is more meaningful and rewarding.
