Corinthia inks deal for Chengdu hotel and residences

China: Luxury hotel group Corinthia has signed a deal with developer ShiLong Industry Co and investment platform The Geminus Group to open a hotel with residences in Chengdu, 2032.

Each of the hotel’s 150 traditional rooms and suites as well as 60 branded residences will offer a panoramic view of Chengdu. The tower is planned to rise 225 metres in the city’s high-tech Gaoxin District. 

The project forms part of a larger master development currently under construction. Plans for the site include retail, residential, and commercial facilities with a total investment of approximately RMB 4.0 billion.

It adds to Corinthia’s development pipeline which includes properties in Lake Como, Doha, Riyadh and Dubai, alongside resorts in the Maldives.
