Chopped Leaf, a fast casual restaurant chain with more than 115 locations in Canada, is offering healthier kids combos thanks to its partnership with SunRype, the Canadian food and drink brand behind Fruit to Go Bites, a packaged fruit snack featuring fun animal shapes.
“Both Chopped Leaf and SunRype Fruit to Go share a commitment to offering quality, wholesome ingredients that are simple, recognizable and delicious,” Karen Paradine, head of marketing for Chopped Leaf, said in a company press release. “Parents can feel great about choosing our new Kids Meal Combos, knowing they’re packed with nutritious options, and kids will love the taste! And we’re the first fast-casual restaurant to include these brand new SunRype snacks on our menu.”
The Chopped Leaf Kids Meal starts with a Chickie Ranch Wrap, Chickie Caesar Salad or Wrap, Chickie Bowl, Chickie Sandwich or Chickie Quesadilla. To complete the combo, kids will receive cucumber slices and ranch dip, an Oasis apple juice box and the launched Fruit to Go Bites.
“We’re excited to be featured in Chopped Leaf’s Kids Meal with our newly launched SunRype Fruit to Go Bites,” Barb Grant, head of marketing for SunRype, said in the release. “Our Apple Strawberry Bites, made from real fruit puree and juices, are free from preservatives and contain no artificial flavors or colors. Plus, they’re gluten-free, nut-free and vegan — perfect for kids with dietary restrictions.”
