US: Hospitality investment firm Blue Flag Capital will open four boutique hotels in Montauk, Greenport, Jackson Hole and Sag Harbor this summer.
The additions include three properties in New York as well as Blue Flag’s first outside of the American northeast, including the Hotel Corduroy in Montauk, Oyster Estate in Greenport, Faraway Jackson Hole and Faraway Sag Harbor.
In Montauk, Hotel Corduroy is a 29-key boutique hotel, featuring private beach access and lawn space in a three-building development. Its doors open in May.
Oyster Estate in Greenport offers 34 rooms alongside a courtyard pool and patio. Amenities include a gym, meeting space, and cocktail bar and restaurant Fortune Favors. Oyster Estate is scheduled to open in September.
Expanding Blue Flag’s Faraway brand, locations in Jackson Hole and Sag Harbor will open in early June.
Faraway Sag Harbor is a 67-room hotel in the Hamptons with maritime-inspired design. Amenities include a pool and terrace, communal spaces and ground-floor bar and lounge alongside waterfront restaurant Zagara.
Much farther west, Faraway Jackson Hole offers 90 rooms and suites as well as 48 residences. Amenities in the mountain town include a year-round indoor-outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna and ski access. Restaurant Sure Hand will feature Wyoming-inspired dishes on-site. A 2028 expansion will add living space, a signature restaurant and meeting and event space.
“We’re incredibly excited to bring Faraway west to Jackson Hole, it’s one of the most iconic, year-round leisure destinations in the country,” Blue Flag development chief Brad Guidi said. “Similarly, expanding across Long Island felt like a natural progression from Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. These are legacy markets with enduring demand, and we believe there’s room for design-forward hotels that feel deeply connected to their surroundings.”
Blue Flag’s previous investments are all situated in Massachusetts, with four out of the five in the island town Nantucket.
