Ireland: Radisson Hotel Group has debuted its lifestyle RED brand in Ireland with a hotel in Galway.

The hotel has been developed by the Rhatigan Group and designed by Dublin-based architects Henry J Lyons.

It features 177 guest rooms and suites equipped with Chrome Cast technology, the ground-floor Claddagh Bar & Grill, Lena’s Rooftop Bar & Restaurant seating up to 140, as well as several meeting and events spaces spread across two floors.

Guests can check-in and check-out through kiosks, and wireless charging points are placed throughout the hotel.

Tom Flanagan Karttunen, area SVP northern and western Europe, Radisson Hotel Group, said: “Opening the first ever Radisson RED property in Ireland is a monumental occasion, and I could not be prouder that it’s located in Galway, which happens to be my hometown. The property perfectly marries the bold vibrance of the brand’s design with the culture and heritage of the city, and it is an ideal choice for business and leisure guests alike.”

Padraic Rhatigan, principle of the Rhatigan Group, said: “We are proud to be bringing this new, high-quality destination hotel to our home city of Galway. Radisson RED is a great fit for our city, and we are looking forward to revealing the standout design and sophisticated offering in Galway.”
